Intro to Long Range Shooting Class June

About the Event

We will cover basic ballistics, wind reading, range estimation, target engagements to 1000 yards Students that complete the course will have a basic proficiency in firearm safety, marksmanship fundamentals, a combined knowledge of their personal capabilities with their equipment and systematic training methods for future progression. We will start with a 1 hr. class and finish the day shooting at Ares Training and Range at 100, 400, 600 and 800 yards.

Equipment Needed:

• Long Range Semi Auto or Bolt Action Rifle with Scope

• 60 Rounds of Ammo

• Shooting Rest, Bag or Bipod/Monopod

• 1-2 Magazines if applicable

• Eye and Hearing Protection

• Water, Snack

• Notepads/Pencils
